Metro Athletic Conference (Ohio)
The Metro Athletic Conference is an association of eight high schools and their associated middle/junior high schools located in the northeast region of the U.S. state of Ohio. Four member schools are in Summit County, three are in Portage County, and one in Medina County. The league was formed in 2019 and began competition in 2020, comprising all eight members of the former Portage Trail Conference Metro Division. The initial opening of conference play for many sports was put in jeopardy from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, with golf being the only sport to begin interscholastic at the outset in early August 2020. Later in August, it was announced by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine that all sports were allowed to compete under special guidelines outlined by the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA). High School

Field High School
Field High School is a public high school located in Brimfield, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Field Local School District, which mainly enrolls students from Brimfield and Suffield townships, and the southern part of Kent. Their athletic teams are known as the Falcons, and the school colors are red, white, and black. The principal is Michael Geraghty and the assistant principal is Ashley Mauger. Streetsboro is a city in Portage County, Ohio, United States. It is formed from the former township of Streetsboro, which was formed from the Connecticut Western Reserve. Springfield High School is a public high school in Lakemore, Ohio, United States, just east of Akron. It is the only high school in the Springfield Local School District and serves students living in Lakemore and Springfield Township. Construction The current high school was built to replace the district's old high school. The building was constructed by Cavanaugh Building in 2013. History Ravenna High School was established in 1858, first meeting in a grocery store along West Main Street before moving to the new Union School building on Chestnut Street after it opened in December 1859.
