Methodist Girls' School (MGS) is an independent Methodist girls' school in Bukit Timah, Singapore, founded in 1887 by Australian missionary Sophia Blackmore. It offers a six-year primary education in its primary school section and a four-year secondary education in its secondary school section. Since 2012, it has partnered with its affiliated school Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) (ACS(I)) for a six-year Integrated Programme, which allows its secondary school students to proceed to ACS(I) for Years 5 and 6 to complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. Geh Min
Dr. Geh Min () is the former President of Nature Society in Singapore. She was formerly a Nominated Member of Parliament from January 2005 to April 2006. Early life and education Geh studied at Methodist Girls' School and Anglo-Chinese School. She is a medicine graduate of the National University of Singapore. Kwa Geok Choo
Kwa Geok Choo (; 21 December 1920 – 2 October 2010) was a Singaporean lawyer. She was the wife of former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew and the mother of current Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. She was also the co-founder and partner of law firm Lee & Lee. Biography Kwa was the daughter of Kwa Siew Tee, former general manager of Oversea-Chinese Bank and Singapore Municipal Commissioner who was a Tong'anese on his paternal side who also had a Teochew mother, and Wee Yew Neo, Geok Choo's Teochew mother was from Shantou. Belinda Ang Saw Ean (born 24 April 1954) is a Singaporean judge of the Court of Appeal. Ang received her Bachelor of Laws from the Aberystwyth University, University of Wales, Aberystwyth in 1976 and her Master of Laws (with distinction) from the University College London. She was first appointed Judicial Commissioner in February 2002, Judge of the Supreme Court of Singapore, Supreme Court in January 2003, Judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court in January 2021, and Justice of the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court in November 2022. The Singapore National Youth Orchestra (SNYO) is the national youth orchestra of Singapore. It is recognised by the Ministry of Education as a National Project of Excellence and a key development programme for talented young musicians. Since 1 January 2016, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra (SSO) has assumed management and operational responsibility for the SNYO, taking over the reins from the Ministry of Education. Kam Ning () is a violinist and daughter of the violinist-composer Kam Kee Yong (甘琦勇), and grandchild of Kam Beng Soo and Ooi Kooi Aun.
