Meta Hansen
Meta Kristine Hansen (1865–1941) was a Danish women's rights activist and politician. In 1893, she became the first woman to graduate in political science from the University of Copenhagen. She co-founded Denmark's Political Women's Association (Politisk Kvindeforening) in 1904, later chairing it when it became the Copenhagen Women's Suffrage Association (Københavns Kvindevalgretsforening). From 1907, she served as secretary of the National Association for Women's Suffrage, writing articles in the organization's magazine ''Kvindevalgret''. Hansen was also a board member of the Danish Women's Society from 1906 to 1924. Representing the Danish Social Liberal Party, she was a candidate for Frederiksberg's Municipal Council in 1917 but was not elected. Asminderød Church
Asminderød Church ( Danish: Asminderød Kirke) is a parish church in Asminderød, now part of Fredensborg, Fredensborg Municipality som 40 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. History A small Romanesque church was built at the site in the first half of the 12th century. It was later in the century expanded westwards. The thick granite walls indicate that they may already then have carried a tower. The current tower and the cross vaulted ceiling of the nave date from the 15th century. The porch on the north side of the church was constructed in the first half of the 13th century and the chancel was expanded to its current size in around 1500. The southern side nave was constructed in brick in 1736. The small sacresty was added in 1839.
