Messages (formerly known as Android Messages) is an SMS, RCS, and instant messaging application developed by Google for its Android and WearOS mobile operating systems, while it's also available via the Web. Messages is Google's official universal messaging platform for the Android ecosystem, similar to the implementation of iMessage in Apple devices. Google Chat (formerly known as Hangouts Chat) is a Communication software, communication service developed by Google. Initially designed for teams and business environments, it has since been made available for general consumers. It provides Private message, direct message, group conversations, and spaces, which allow users to create and assign tasks and share files in a central place in addition to chatting. Google Allo
Google Allo was an instant messaging mobile app by Google for the Android (operating system), Android and iOS mobile operating systems, with a web client available on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera (web browser), Opera. It closed on March 12, 2019. The app used phone numbers as identifiers, allowing users to exchange messages, files, voice notes, and images. It included a Virtual assistant (artificial intelligence), virtual assistant that generated automatic reply suggestions and an optional encrypted mode known as incognito mode. Users could also resize messages and add doodles and stickers on images before sending them. Messages is an instant messaging software application developed by Apple Inc. for its macOS, iOS, iPadOS, and watchOS operating systems. The Mobile operating system, mobile version of Messages on iOS used on iPhone and iPad also supports SMS and Multimedia Messaging Service, MMS due to replacing the older text messaging Text app since iPhone OS 3. Google Safe Browsing is a service from Google that warns users when they attempt to navigate to a dangerous website or download dangerous files. Safe Browsing also notifies webmasters when their websites are compromised by malicious actors and helps them diagnose and resolve the problem. This protection works across Google products and is claimed to “power safer browsing experiences across the Internet”. It lists URLs for web resources that contain malware or phishing content. Browsers like Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Vivaldi, Brave and GNOME Web use these lists from Google Safe Browsing to check pages against potential threats. Google Photos is a photo sharing and storage service developed by Google. It was announced in May 2015 and spun off from Google+, the company's former social network.
