Mesbahuddin Ahmad
Mesbahuddin Ahmad is a Bangladeshi academic. He has been a fellow of Bangladesh Academy of Sciences since 1997 and was the president of the academy during 2012–2015. He was the vice-chancellor of Gono University from 2008 to 2016. Education and career Ahmad completed his master's in chemistry from the University of Dhaka in 1958. He obtained his Ph.D. from University of Ottawa in organic chemistry in 1963. He joined the University of Dhaka as a lecturer in 1959. University Of Dhaka
The University of Dhaka (also known as Dhaka University, or DU) is a public research university located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the oldest university in Bangladesh. The university opened its doors to students on July 1st 1921. Currently it is the largest public research university in Bangladesh, with a student body of 46,150 and a faculty of 1,992. Gono University or Gono Bishwabidyalay ('' bn, গণ বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়'', abbreviated as GB) is a private university in Savar, Bangladesh which was established on 14 July 1994. Jahangirnagar University ( JU) is a publicly funded university located in Savar, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is the only fully residential university in Bangladesh.
