The Sepang 12 Hours (formerly known as the Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race and Merdeka Millennium Endurance Race), was a 12 Hours Endurance racing (motorsport), endurance racing event held annually between 2000 and 2016 at the Sepang International Circuit on December in Malaysia. It was organised by the Stephane Ratel Organisation, responsible for global GT3 standards in international sportscar racing. Nigel Peter Albon (born 8 February 1957) is a British race car driver. He last drove in the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia for Team Vertu in 2007. His son, Alex Albon, is also a race car driver, driving in Formula One for Williams F1 Team. Racing career In 1993 he raced in the Renault Clio Cup, finishing the year fifth on points. During the 1994 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) he raced a Renault 19 for Harlow Motorsport in the Total Independents Cup coming equal fifth with 108 points. In 2001 he drove one race of the FIA GT Championship for the Gamon Porsche team. The 24 Hours of Le Mans (french: link=no, 24 Heures du Mans) is an endurance-focused sports car race held annually near the town of Le Mans, France. It is the world's oldest active endurance racing event. Honda S2000
The Honda S2000 is an open top sports car that was manufactured by Japanese automobile manufacturer Honda, from 1999 until 2009. First shown as a concept car called the SSM at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1995, the production version was launched on April 15, 1999, to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary. The S2000 is named for its engine displacement of two liters, carrying on in the tradition of the S500, S600, and S800 roadsters of the 1960s.
