Meral Tasbas
Meral Izabelle Tasbas (born 4 April 1979) is a Swedish television personality, singer, actress and television host. Tasbas is known for appearing as a contestant on all five seasons of the reality show '' The Bar'' between 2000 and 2004 on TV3 and for hosting her own television show on TV3 called ''Meral-TV''. She has appeared in some films and released a bilingual Turkish/English language single "Versene" with Marcus Öhrn. Career Appearance in ''The Bar'' Meral Tasbas became a household name when she participated in all five seasons of the reality show '' The Bar'' between 2000 and 2004 on Swedish station TV3. ''Star Academy'', called ''Operación Triunfo'' ("Operation Triumph") in Spanish-speaking countries, is a highly successful television pop music talent contest with viewer voting and reality show elements. ''The Last Reality Show'' ( sv, Den Sista Dokusåpan) is a Swedish TV series that aired on TV 6 in Sweden the spring of 2012. The show portrays a zombie apocalypse as seen through the eyes of the cast and crew of a reality show. The title of the series refers to the name of said reality show being produced which is to bring forth the ultimate Swedish reality star (reality show stars of Swedish reality shows play themselves) as well that the fact that almost every episode features the death of one of the reality stars. The show featured 8 episodes. The series was created and produced by Tord Danielsson, directed by Oskar Mellander and photographed by Anders Jacobsson of Evil Ed fame. TV4 (''TV fyra'') is a Swedish free-to-air television network owned by TV4 AB, a subsidiary of the TV4 Media AB. TV6 is a Swedish television channel broadcasting owned by Viaplay Group. It has origins in the youth channel ZTV that started broadcasting in the early 1990s. In 2004, MTG started repositioning the channel by introducing sports broadcasts and other programming that mainly targeted men. In February 2006, MTG received a license to broadcast a channel called TV6 on terrestrial television.
