Mera Yaar Mera Dushman
''Mera Yaar Mera Dushman'' () is a 1987 Indian Hindi-language film directed by Anil Ganguly. It stars Rakesh Roshan, Mithun Chakraborty, Bindiya Goswami, Zarina Wahab in lead roles. The film's music was composed by Bappi Lahiri. The film was shot and completed in 1982 but got delayed for unknown reasons. Initially the film was titled Karwat. The producer even released the LP and EP records of the film under that name. Mera Yaar Mera Dushman was chosen to cash in on Mithun's action image. Synopsis Jagmohan & Raj Narayan are both good friends and business partners. Jagmohan's son Ashok (Rakesh Roshan) wants to become a dancer and his daughter Anita loves a boxer Vinod (Mithun Chakraborty). Narayan's son Shakti is also a boxer. Anil Ganguly
Anil Ganguly (26 January 1933 – 15 January 2016) was an Indian film director and screenwriter, who worked in Hindi cinema from 1970s to 2001. He is best known for Jaya Bhaduri starrer, ''Kora Kagaz'' (1974) and the Rakhee Gulzar, Rakhee starrer ''Tapasya (1976 film), Tapasya'' (1975), both of which won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment. He is also known for his films with Rakhee like Trishna (1978 film), Trishna, Aanchal (1980 film), Aanchal, Saaheb (1985). Later in his career, after 1986 he made seven films none of which succeeded. Manhar Udhas is a Hindi and Gujarati language singer and Bollywood playback singer. Early life Manhar Udhas is the eldest son of Keshubhai Udhas and Jituben Udhas, and the elder brother of singers Pankaj Udhas and Nirmal Udhas. He completed his mechanical engineering training in Gujarat and moved to Mumbai in the late 1960s to look for a job. He was interested in music since childhood. Shailendra Singh is an Indian playback singer and actor. He sang several Hindi and a few Marathi songs during the late 1970s and early 1980s. He was very close to Mehmood Ali. Mahendra Kapoor (9 January 1934 – 27 September 2008) was an Indian playback singer. In a long career spanning decades, his repertoire included popular songs such as ''Chalo ekbaar phir se Ajnabi ban jayen hum dono'' ( Gumrah) and ''Neele Gagan ke tale'' (Hamraaz). Jankidas Mehra (1910 – 18 June 2003) was an Indian actor of Hindi cinema, cyclist, production designer, and writer. He made over 1000 film appearances between the 1930s and 1997.
