Men's South American Volleyball Club Championship
The South American Men's Volleyball Club Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organized by the ''Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol'' (CSV), the sport's governing body in South America. The competition was first contested in 2009 in Florianópolis, Brazil and tournaments have been held every year since then. In addition to crowning the South American champions, the tournament also serves as a qualifying tournament for the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship. The Associação Desportiva RJX and thereafter RJ Vôlei was a Brazilian volleyball team based in Rio de Janeiro, Rio de Janeiro (state), Rio de Janeiro state. They compete in the Brazilian Men's Volleyball Superliga, Brazilian Superliga and were the 2012–13 national league champions. Deportes Linares is a Chilean Football club, their home town is Linares in Chile and play in the 3rd tier of Chilean football, the Segunda División. The club was founded on November 19, 1955 as ''Lister Rossel'' (a famous local pediatrician and amateur sportsman). In 1974 the club name was changed to ''Deportes Linares''.
