Melvin Robinson
Melvin Robinson (born January 4, 1980) is a retired American basketball player. He has played collegiately for Saint Louis University from 1990 to 1992. He played during the NBA preseason for the Milwaukee Bucks (1992), Minnesota Timberwolves (1994), Seattle SuperSonics (1995) and Toronto Raptors (1996). He has also played professionally in Turkey for Mydonose Kolejliler (also known as TED Kolejliler) (2000–02) and Göztepe İzmir (2002–03) and in Mexico for Tuberos de Colima (2005). He also briefly played in Lithuania, for BC Sakalai BC Sakalai was a professional basketball club based in Vilnius, Lithuania, playing in the Lithuanian Basketball League and the Baltic Basketball League. Basketball Player
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball (approximately in diameter) through the defender's hoop (a basket in diameter mounted high to a backboard at each end of the court, while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. A field goal is worth two points, unless made from behind the three-point line, when it is worth three. BC Sakalai was a professional basketball club based in Vilnius, Lithuania, playing in the Lithuanian Basketball League and the Baltic Basketball League. They played their home games at the 1,000-seat Ekinstos laisvalaikio centras. Sakalai means falcons in Lithuanian language. Franchise history Beginning and LKAL champions (1991–1994) BC Sakalai began playing in 1991 at the Lithuanian Basketball A League (LKAL). The Saint Louis Billikens men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Saint Louis University. They compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
