Melody Thornton
Melody Thornton (born September 28, 1984) is an American singer and television personality. After graduating high school, Thornton became one the main vocalists of the pop girl group the Pussycat Dolls and released the albums '' PCD'' (2005) and ''Doll Domination'' (2008) becoming one of the world's best-selling girl groups. As part of the group, she has received a Grammy Award nomination. Following her departure from the group in 2010, Thornton independently released a mixtape, '' P.O.Y.B.L'' (2012), and an EP, ''Lioness Eyes'' (2020). Outside her music, she has competed on reality shows, ''Popstar to Operastar'' (2011), ''Dancing on Ice'' (2019) and won the fourth season of the Australian version of ''The Masked Singer'' (2022). ''The Masked Singer Australia'' is an Australian reality television singing competition show hosted that premiered on Network 10 on 23 September 2019. Hosted by Osher Günsberg, the show is based on the international music game show franchise ''Masked Singer'' which originated from the South Korean television program ''King of Mask Singer''. It was often reported to be written for children in the 1920s by Harry Dixon Loes, but he never claimed credit for the original version of the song, and the Moody Bible Institute where he worked said he did not write it. Camelback High School is part of the Phoenix Union High School District. The campus is located at 4612 North 28th Street, northeast of downtown Phoenix, Arizona, United States. Camelback's enrollment is just over 2,000 students, over 75 percent of whom are Hispanic.
