Melodifestivalen 1984
Sweden held a national preselction named ''Melodifestivalen 1984'' to choose the entry for the Eurovision Song Contest the same year. The winner was the three brothers Herrey, consisting of Richard, Louis and Per. Their song was called "Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley", and was written by Britt Lindeborg and Torgny Söderberg. Before Eurovision Melodifestivalen 1984 Melodifestivalen 1984 was the selection for the 24th song to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. It was the 23rd time that this system of picking a song had been used. 90 songs were submitted to SVT for the competition. The final was held in the Lisebergshallen in Gothenburg on 25 February 1984, presented by Fredrik Belfrage and was broadcast on TV1 but was not broadcast on radio. Herreys
Herreys (), sometimes Herrey's or Herrey, is a Swedish pop group, consisting of the three brothers Per Herrey (born 9 August 1958), Richard Herrey (born 19 August 1964), and Louis Herrey (born 3 November 1966). They won the Eurovision Song Contest 1984 with the song " Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley". Richard and Louis Herrey became the first teenage males to win Eurovision and remain the youngest ever male winners, being 19 years and 260 days and 18 years and 184 days of age respectively. In 1985, they won the Sopot International Song Festival with " Sommarparty". At the time Herreys won Eurovision, the brothers were living and working as singers in Cleveland, Ohio, United States. Lotta Engberg
Anna Charlotte "Lotta" Engberg (born Pedersen; 5 March 1963) is a Swedish singer. She represented Sweden in Eurovision Song Contest 1987 with " Boogaloo" after winning Melodifestivalen 1987. She also tried many times in Melodifestivalen in 1984, 1988, 1990, 1996, 2002 and 2012. She was also a singer in a number of formations including " Trioala" early on, and in dansbands Lotta & Anders Engbergs orkester from 1989 to 1994, and after her divorce from Anders Engberg, in dansband Lotta Engbergs from 1994 until 2002. Alf Göran Bruno Glenmark (born 17 March 1938 in Tomelilla, Sweden) is a Swedish musician, songwriter, band leader and singer. Music career During the 1960s, Glenmark toured Sweden with his own band and soloist Eleanor Bodel. With his wife Ann-Louise Hanson, niece Karin Glenmark and nephew Anders Glenmark, in the 1970s he formed the family group Glenmarks. Ingela Birgitta "Pling" Forsman (born 26 August 1950 in , Sweden) is a Swedish lyricist in popular music. As a student Forsman attended the Adolf Fredrik's Music School in Stockholm. 1981–2009, 33 of her songs have competed in the Swedish Melodifestivalen, three of them winners: '' Bra vibrationer'' (1985), '' Se på mej'' (1995) and ''Kärleken är'' (1998). Gert Anders Glenmark (born 20 November 1953) is a Swedish singer, songwriter, musician and record producer. He is the brother of singer Karin Glenmark and nephew of band leader Bruno Glenmark.
