Bruno Glenmark
Alf Göran Bruno Glenmark (born 17 March 1938 in Tomelilla, Sweden) is a Swedish musician, songwriter, band leader and singer. Music career During the 1960s, Glenmark toured Sweden with his own band and soloist Eleanor Bodel. With his wife Ann-Louise Hanson, niece Karin Glenmark and nephew Anders Glenmark, in the 1970s he formed the family group Glenmarks. Their first big success was ''Gammaldags musik'', for which Bruno Glenmark also wrote the lyrics. With Hanson, Glenmark had his own record label, GlenDisc, from 1972 to 1990. Malmö
Malmö (, ; da, Malmø ) is the largest city in the Swedish county (län) of Scania (Skåne). Sweden selected their representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 1979 in a show called Melodifestivalen 1979. The winner was the popular pop singer Ted Gärdestad with the song " Satellit", which he composed, while the lyrics were by his brother, Kenneth Gärdestad. Before Eurovision Melodifestivalen 1979 Melodifestivalen 1979 was the selection for the 19th song to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest. Pernilla Wahlgren
Pernilla Nina Elisabeth Wahlgren (born 24 December 1967) is a Swedish singer and actress. She has sung in Melodifestivalen several times; her 1985 entry titled " Piccadilly Circus" became popular and successful. She has acted in several plays and films, playing roles including Esmeralda in the Academy Award-winning ''Fanny and Alexander''. She has twice received the Guldmasken award for her work in theater. Career Acting Wahlgren's first acting job, at the age of four, was alongside her mother in the television play ''Den längsta dagen'' (). She attended Adolf Fredrik's Music School and was also part of the Saltsjöbaden theater. After playing a small role in ''Lilla prinsen'' () at Saltsjöbaden's theater, and in the face of stiff competition, Wahlgren got the title role in the musical ''Annie'' at Folkan, Stockholm. Following Herreys' victory in the previous year, Sweden were the hosts of the Eurovision Song Contest 1985. The venue chosen for the show was the country's second city, Gothenburg. In order to save money for the staging of the Eurovision Song Contest itself, the competition to select Sweden's national entry, Melodifestivalen, was a low-budget version in 1985. Of the ten entries, five went through to a second round, which was won by the song "Bra vibrationer", written by Lasse Holm and Ingela "Pling" Forsman and sung by Kikki Danielsson. Kikki had already represented Sweden three years earlier, as part of the pop group Chips. The other half, Elisabeth Andreassen, went to win for Norway, alongside the group Bobbysocks.
