Melbourne Victory FC Players
Melbourne Victory Football Club, an Australian association football club based in Melbourne, Victoria, was founded in 2004. They became the only Victorian team in the inaugural seasons of the A-League, a professional football competition which commenced in 2005. The club's first team has competed in numerous nationally and internationally organised competitions, and all players who have played in one or more such match are listed below. Leigh Broxham holds the record for the greatest number of appearances for Melbourne Victory. From 2005 to date, the Australian defender has played 375 times for the club. As of 2020, fourteen other players have made more than 100 appearances for Melbourne. José Raúl Baena Urdiales (; born 2 March 1989) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder and is currently a free agent. Club career Espanyol Born in Torrox, Province of Málaga, Andalusia, and after starting his footballing career at local Málaga CF and later coming through the FC Barcelona's youth ranks, Baena switched to Catalonia neighbours RCD Espanyol in 2007, at the age of 18. Matías Ariel Sánchez (; born 18 August 1987) is an Argentine footballer who play for Brown de Adrogué. Club career Sánchez made his way through Racing Club's youth system to make his debut in a 0–3 defeat to Boca Juniors on March 5, 2006. Alan Baró Calabuig (; born 22 June 1985) is a Spanish footballer who plays for CF Peralada mainly as a central defender but also as a defensive midfielder. He amassed Segunda División totals of 177 matches and two goals over six seasons, mainly at the service of Ponferradina (four years). Fábio Alves Macedo (born 16 March 1985 in Ariquemes) known as Fabinho, is a Brazilian footballer. He has played in numerous State football leagues in Brazil during his playing career in his native country and has played for the Brazil U20 team. Ricardo Weslei de Campelo, also known as Ricardinho (born 19 November 1983 in Birigüi, São Paulo) is a Brazilian footballer. José Luis López Ramírez (born March 31, 1981) is a Costa Rican footballer. Club career López made his professional debut for Herediano on 4 January 1997 against Saprissa and left them for Saprissa in 2003.
