''Meherbaan'' is a 1993 Indian Hindi-language film directed by K. Ravishankar, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Ayesha Jhulka, Shantipriya, Anupam Kher and Sadashiv Amrapurkar. The film was a remake of Tamil film ''Naan Pudicha Mappillai''. Plot ''Meherbaan'' is the story of a family man, who has to decide between commitment, ethics and love between his two women. Shanthipriya is an Indian actress who has worked predominantly in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi films. She is credited as Nishanthi in Tamil films and Shanthipriya in Telugu and Hindi films. She is the younger sister of actress Bhanupriya. Career Shanthipriya acted in several films, including ''Enga Ooru Pattukaran'' (1988). Sadashiv Dattaray Amrapurkar (11 May 1950 – 3 November 2014) was an Indian actor, best known for his performances in Marathi language, Marathi and Hindi films from 1983 to 1999. Pankaj Udhas (born 17 May 1951) is an Indian ghazal and playback singer. He started his career with a release of a ghazal album titled ''Aahat'' in 1980 and subsequently recorded many hits like ''Mukarar'' in 1981, ''Tarrannum'' in 1982, ''Mehfil'' in 1983, ''Pankaj Udhas Live at Royal Albert Hall'' in 1984, ''Nayaab'' in 1985 and ''Aafreen'' in 1986. Vinod Rathod (born 12 September 1962) is an Indian playback singer who primarily sings in Bollywood films. Rathod is the son of late classical musician, Pandit Chaturbhuj Rathod.
