Mehdi Lacen
Medhi Gregory Giuseppe Lacen ( ar, مهدي لحسن; born 15 March 1984) is an Algerian former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. After starting out at Laval, he spent most of his professional career in Spain, representing Alavés, Racing de Santander, Getafe and Málaga and amassing La Liga totals of 273 matches and seven goals over ten seasons. Lacen appeared for Algeria in two World Cups. Club career Born in Paris, France, to an Algerian father and an Italian mother, Lacen started his professional career with modest Stade Lavallois and ASOA Valence. Algeria National Football Team
The Algeria national football team ( ar, منتخب الجزائر لكرة القدم) represents Algeria in men's international football and is governed by the Algerian Football Federation. The team plays their home matches at the 5 July Stadium in Algiers and Miloud Hadefi Stadium in Oran. Algeria joined FIFA on 1 January 1964, a year and a half after gaining independence. They are the current champions of the FIFA Arab Cup. The North African team has qualified for four World Cups in 1982, 1986, 2010 and 2014. The 2005–06 La Liga season, the 75th since its establishment, started on 27 August 2005 and finished on 20 May 2006 due to all top-flight European leagues ending earlier than the previous season because of 2006 FIFA World Cup. Peter Luccin
Peter Bernard Luccin (; born 9 April 1979) is a French former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. He currently serves as an assistant coach with MLS side FC Dallas. After arriving in Spain at age 22, he went on to appear in more than 300 official matches for a handful of clubs in the country. In La Liga, he amassed totals of 239 games and 11 goals over the course of eight seasons, spending three years apiece with Celta and Atlético Madrid. Club career Luccin was born in Marseille.
