Mehdi Ghayedi
Mehdi Ghayedi ( fa, مهدی قایدی, born 5 December 1998) is an Iranian professional footballer who plays as a forward or second striker for Persian Gulf League club Esteghlal and the Iran national team. Club career Iranjavan Ghayedi was born in Bushehr, Iran, and started his career at youth level with Iranjavan Bushehr. He was promoted to the senior squad before the start of the 2016–17 and scored 10 times. He was named as the Azadegan League young player of the season for the 2016–17 season in July 2017. Esteghlal On 8 June 2017, Ghayedi signed a three-year contract with Esteghlal, upon signing for Esteghlal, he was given the number 16. At the start of the season the FFIRI banned him from playing along with two fellow Esteghlal teammates Majid Hosseini and Omid Noorafkan as Alireza Mansourian prevented them to join Iran under-23 camp. Alireza Mansourian
Alireza Mansourian ( fa, علیرضا منصوريان; born 2 December 1971) is an Iranian football coach and retired player. Club career Mansourian was born in Tehran. During his career, he played for Singapore S.League clubs: Balestier Khalsa FC and Geylang United along with the Iranian club Esteghlal F.C. He moved to Greek club Skoda Xanthi in 1998 after Xanthi fans contributed to raise the amount of money needed to complete the transfer. He played for Skoda Xanthi for one and a half seasons, taking part in 23 games. In December 1999, Mansourian went to Greek club Apollon Smyrnis for six months where he played seven games and scored once. After Apollon's relegation, he continued his career in Germany with FC St. Pauli where he remained for two seasons. Finally he returned to Iran and Esteghlal where he was appointed as the team's captain. Al-Gharafa Sports Club ( ar, نادي الغرافة الرياضي) is a Qatari multisports club based in the Al Gharrafa district of Al Rayyan. 2017–18 Hazfi Cup
The 2017–18 Hazfi Shield Cup was the 31st season of the Iranian football knockout competition. The competition begin in August 2017 and the final was played on May 3, 2018. Mehdi Sharifi, then center forward for Persian side Tractor SC was the Cup's top scorer with five goals. The Cup was won by Esteghla FC in a 1–0 victory over Khooneh Be Khooneh. The Finals only goal was scored by Mame Thiam, an Esteghlal forward in the 35' minute of the game. This was Esteghlal seventh Hazfi Cup title.
