Megan Imrie (born 14 February 1986) is a Canadian former biathlete who is also active in rodeo and long-distance running. She competed for Canada at the 2010 Winter Olympics and the 2014 Winter Olympics. Falcon Lake, Manitoba
Falcon Lake is an unincorporated urban centre at the western end of Falcon Lake situated in the southeasternmost section of the Whiteshell Provincial Park in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It is the major entry point to the Whiteshell from the Trans-Canada Highway. Three provincially operated campgrounds, Falcon Creek, Falcon Beach and Falcon Lakeshore, picnic areas, a swimming beach and adjacent public boat launch, several cottage lot divisions and numerous tourist services make the community a favored entrance point to the provincial park. Megan Tandy (formerly Megan Heinicke; born 10 September 1988) is a Canadian biathlete. Career Tandy was raised in Prince George, British Columbia. She competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver in the women's sprint (7.5 km), pursuit (10 km), mass start (12.5 km) and individual (15 km) competitions. She placed 46th in the sprint on 13 February 2010 with a time of 22:07.7 and no penalties, resulting in a +2:12.1 deficit. In the pursuit on 16 February, she placed 36th with a time of 34:02.2 with one penalty, resulting in a +3:46.2 deficit. 2013–14 Biathlon World Cup
The 2013–14 Biathlon World Cup was a multi-race tournament over a season of biathlon, organised by the International Biathlon Union. The season started on 24 November 2013 in Östersund, Sweden, and ended on 23 March 2014 in Holmenkollen, Norway. Kaisa Mäkäräinen was the winner at the conclusion of the season with Tora Berger 2nd. However, the results of Olga Zaitseva were later annulled due do doping offences. The recalculation would have given overall world cup win to Berger, but the IBU made the decision based on the principle that clean athletes cannot be punished for the doping offenses of others. So, two first places were awarded in the women's overall. Rosanna Crawford
Rosanna Crawford (born 23 May 1988) is a Canadian biathlete. Career Crawford competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver in the women's sprint (7.5 km) and individual (15 km) competitions. She placed 72nd in the sprint on 13 February 2010 with a time of 23:04.6 and no penalties resulting in a +3:09.0 deficit. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi she was part of the women's relay team which finished eighth, Canada's best ever finish in this Olympic event. Crawford was named as Biathlon Canada's Female Athlete of the Year for the 2012-13 season. 2018 Winter Olympics In January 2018, Crawford was named to Canada's 2018 Olympic team where she finished 53rd in the women's sprint.
