Mees Bakker
Mees Bakker (born 11 March 2001) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club De Graafschap. Club career He made his Eerste Divisie debut for Jong AZ on 20 August 2018 in a game against Almere City, as a starter. On 7 July 2022, Bakker joined De Graafschap on a season-long loan with an option to buy. On 1 June 2023, De Graafschap made the transfer permanent and signed a one-year contract with Bakker, with an option for a second year. International career He made one group-stage appearance with the Netherlands national under-17 football team at the 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and was the backup in the other games, as Netherlands won the tournament. Charles Edward Kenneth Mees FRS (26 May 1882 – 15 August 1960) was a British scientist and photographic researcher. Early life and education Mees was born in Wellingborough, England, the son of a Wesleyan minister. He attended the University of London. In 1906 he was awarded his D.Sc. with a dissertation on photographic theory. Career From 1906 until 1912, Mees worked for Wratten and Wainwright, Ltd., assisting Frederick Wratten in developing the first panchromatic photographic plates, as well as light filters and safelights for the darkroom. In 1912, Eastman Kodak Company acquired Wratten and Wainwright because they were interested in the skills Mees provided. George Eastman convinced Mees to move to Rochester, New York, United States, where Mees created the Kodak Research Laboratories, becoming its first director. Mee's Bus Lines is a bus and coach operator in Melbourne, Australia. History Russell Mee commenced a body builder business in 1941. Initially trading as Mee's Bodyworks banner and later Melba Busworks, it built bodies for many operators as well as the Australian Army. A route from Canterbury to Box Hill South was purchased route from L Drumgold in 1965, however ceased in 1967. In June 1972 Mee's commenced operating some routes around Warrandyte. Mees's nightjar (''Caprimulgus meesi'') is a member of the nightjar family (Caprimulgidae) described as new to science in 2004. It is a representative of the large-tailed nightjar complex found on Flores and Sumba, Indonesia. Mees is a crater on the far side of the Moon. It is located in a part of the lunar surface that is sometimes brought into view of the Earth under conditions of favorable libration and illumination. Even at such a time, however, this feature is seen from a very low angle and little detail can be perceived. This crater lies in the northern edge of the huge skirt of ejecta that surrounds the Mare Orientale impact basin. This feature lies several hundred kilometers to the south of Mees, where the outer mountain range Montes Cordillera is located. Victor Mees (26 January 1927 – 11 November 2012), nicknamed Vic or Vicky, was a Belgian footballer who played all of his career at Royal Antwerp. Club career Mees was born in Antwerp. He made his first team debut at the age of 17, just after World War II. Mees, who had become a leader of the team, won its first Championship title in 1957, having won the Belgian Cup two years before. International career Known as a gentleman footballer, Mees was at the time a pillar of the national team. In total, Mees made 68 appearances and he played in the 1954 World Cup. Tom Mees (born 8 June 1981) is an English cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He was born in Wolverhampton. Tom Mees
Thomas E. Mees (October 13, 1949 – August 14, 1996) was an American sportscaster best known for his role in hosting professional and collegiate ice hockey and for being a prominent personality on ESPN during that network's early years. Early life and career Mees began his career as a student at the University of Delaware in Newark. After graduation in 1972, he became the sports director at WILM-AM radio in Wilmington. Mees returned to Delaware in 1992 when he announced the Blue Hens' America East Championship for ESPN from the field house. After six years in Wilmington and one year at WECA-TV in Tallahassee, Florida, Mees was hired by ESPN as one of their first on-air personalities for the network's launch in 1979 on September 7. In 2005, he was inducted into the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame.
