Mees Bakker
Mees Bakker (born 11 March 2001) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club De Graafschap. Club career He made his Eerste Divisie debut for Jong AZ on 20 August 2018 in a game against Almere City, as a starter. On 7 July 2022, Bakker joined De Graafschap on a season-long loan with an option to buy. On 1 June 2023, De Graafschap made the transfer permanent and signed a one-year contract with Bakker, with an option for a second year. International career He made one group-stage appearance with the Netherlands national under-17 football team at the 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and was the backup in the other games, as Netherlands won the tournament. Heiloo () is a municipality and town in the Netherlands, located in the province of North Holland. The community is part of the cooperation region Kennemerland and is located in the historical region of West Friesland. Heiloo had a population of in . Origins of the name Heiloo (from the Dutch ''heilige loo'', "sacred forest") was given its name because Saint Willibrord was said to have performed a miracle there around 690 and created a church on a small hill. Almere City Football Club is a Dutch professional football club based in Almere, Flevoland. Founded in 2001, plays in the Eerste Divisie, the second tier of Dutch football, and hosts home matches at the Yanmar Stadion.
