Darcy McKeough
William Darcy McKeough, (born January 31, 1933) is a former politician in Ontario, Canada. He was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1963 to 1978 who represented the ridings of Kent West and Chatham—Kent. He was a cabinet minister in the governments of John Robarts and Bill Davis. Due to McKeough's senior position in cabinet as Treasurer, Minister of Economics and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of Municipal Affairs, he was often referred to as the 'Duke of Kent'. After he retired from politics in 1978, he spent a further career in business administering to his companies McKeough Investments and McKeough Supply. Rita McKeough (born 1951) is a Canadian interdisciplinary artist, musician and educator who frequently works in installation and performance. Training and career McKeough was born in 1951 in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. McKeough completed her BFA at the University of Calgary in 1975 and her MFA at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1979. She currently teaches at Alberta University of the Arts and resides in Calgary, Alberta. Stefanie McKeough (born January 27, 1991) is a Canadian retired ice hockey player, currently serving as assistant coach to the Ottawa Gee-Gees women's ice hockey program in the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ) of U Sports. She previously served as head coach of Göteborg HC in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). During her playing career, she competed for the Canadian national team at several international tournaments and played with the Wisconsin Badgers in the NCAA.
