Eugene James Keogh
Eugene James Keogh (August 30, 1907 – May 26, 1989) was an American lawyer and politician who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from New York. He served 15 terms from 1937 to 1967. Background Keogh was born on August 30, 1907, in Brooklyn, New York City. He graduated from New York University in 1927 and from Fordham University School of Law in 1930. Career He was a member of the New York State Assembly (Kings Co., 20th D.) in 1936. He was elected as a Democrat to the 75th through the 89th United States Congresses, holding office from January 3, 1937, to January 3, 1967. He served on the House Ways and Means committee and sponsored the original legislation for the Keogh plan, a type of pension plan. In 1947-8, he served on the Herter Committee. He was also a member of the New York State Racing and Wagering Board from 1973 until 1976. Nina Keogh ( ) is a Canadian puppet builder, voice actress and puppeteer. She is a former member of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, Canadian Actors' Equity Association, UDA, and is an ACTRA member since 1968. She was on the board of directors for ACTRA and the Children's Broadcast Institute. She has worked for TVO and CBC Television. She is best-known for playing the role of Muffy the Mouse in TVO's 1981-87 TV series ''Today's Special'', which was shown worldwide including on Nickelodeon in the United States. Myles Keogh
Myles Walter Keogh (25 March 1840 – 25 June 1876) was an Irish people, Irish soldier. He served in the armies of the Papal States during the war for Italian unification in 1860, and was recruited into the Union Army during the American Civil War, serving as a cavalry officer, particularly under Brig. Gen. John Buford during the Gettysburg Campaign and the three-day Battle of Gettysburg. After the war, Keogh remained in the regular United States Army as commander of I Troop of the 7th Cavalry Regiment under George Armstrong Custer during the Indian Wars, until he was killed along with Custer and all five of the companies directly under Custer's command at the Battle of the Little Bighorn in 1876. Matthew Lon Keough ( ; July 3, 1955 – May 1, 2020) was an American professional baseball player. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a right-handed pitcher from through for the Oakland Athletics (1977–1983), New York Yankees (1983–1984), St. Louis Cardinals (1985), Chicago Cubs (1986) and Houston Astros (1986). After his time in MLB, Keough pitched in Nippon Professional Baseball for the Hanshin Tigers for 4 seasons from 1987 through 1990. Keough batted and threw right-handed. Liam Keogh (born 6 September 1981 in Aberdeen) is a Scottish former professional association footballer, who played as a midfielder. He began his career as a junior with Celtic in September 1997, but never appeared in the Celtic first team. He made his league debut on loan to Forfar Athletic in March 2001, scoring 3 times in 13 games during his loan spell. Keogh left Celtic to join St Mirren on a free transfer in March 2002. Lesbia Harford (9 April 1891 – 5 July 1927) was an Australian poet, novelist and political activist. Biography Lesbia Venner Keogh was the first child of Edmund Joseph Keogh and Beatrice Eleanor Moore, great-great-granddaughter of an Earl of Drogheda. She was born at Brighton, Victoria, on 9 April 1891. From 1893 to 1900, the family lived at "Wangrabel", 6 Horsburgh Grove, Armadale (the house still stands today). Her father left home for Western Australia when his real estate business failed about 1900. She and her three siblings were raised by their mother, who took genteel jobs, begged handouts from Keogh relations and took in boarders. Henry Vincent Keogh (born 1954) is an Australian who was convicted of murder but was eventually released twenty years later on appeal. He grew up in Adelaide, South Australia and was educated at Saint Ignatius College and briefly at the School of Dentistry at The University of Adelaide.State of Injustice, Robert N.
