Maïa Dunphy
Maïa Conchita Dunphy is an Irish television producer, broadcaster and writer. Early life Dunphy grew up in Dalkey, County Dublin. Her father is originally from New Ross and her mother Helen from Spain. She attended school in Paris, France, before returning to Ireland to attend St Andrews College, Blackrock, Dublin. Dunphy graduated from Trinity College Dublin, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and French. Career Writing Dunphy has written and produced for many comedy shows for RTÉ including '' Podge & Rodge'' and Katherine Lynch's ''Wagon's Den'' and books such as ''The Ballydung Bible'', and has worked with Dustin the Turkey and Zig and Zag. Dalkey
Dalkey ( ; ) is an affluent suburb of Dublin, and a seaside resort southeast of the city, and the town of Dún Laoghaire, in the county of Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown in the historic County Dublin, Ireland. It was founded as a Viking settlement and became an active port during the Middle Ages. According to chronicler John Clyn (c.1286–c.1349), it was one of the ports through which the plague entered Ireland in the mid-14th century. In modern times, Dalkey has become a seaside suburb that attracts some tourist visitors. Benzodiazepines (BZD, BDZ, BZs), sometimes called "benzos", are a class of depressant drugs whose core chemical structure is the fusion of a benzene ring and a diazepine ring. Portrayed as live programme, some episodes were recorded in advance and broadcast at a later date. Irish Book Awards
The Irish Book Awards are Irish literary awards given annually to books and authors in various categories. In 2018 An Post took over sponsorship of the awards from Bord Gais Energy. It is the only literary award supported by all-Irish bookstores. First awarded in 2006, they grew out of the Hughes & Hughes bookstore's Irish Novel of the Year Prize which was inaugurated in 2003. Since 2007 the Awards have been an independent not-for-profit company funded by sponsorship. The primary sponsor is An Post, the state owned postal service in Ireland. There are currently nine categories, seven of which are judged by the Irish Literary Academy, two by a public vote. There is also a lifetime achievement award. Colm Hayes
Colm Caffrey, known professionally as Colm Hayes, is an Irish radio broadcaster and sometimes television presenter. He formerly presented weekend breakfasts on RTÉ 2fm. Hayes had a 10-year radio partnership with James "Jim-Jim" Nugent, beginning on ''The Strawberry Alarm Clock'' on FM104 where the pair established themselves as the number one breakfast show in Dublin. ''Tubridy'' was a talk radio show, presented by Ryan Tubridy each weekday morning on RTÉ 2fm, from September 2010 until July 2015. The Taoiseach is the head of government, or prime minister, of Republic of Ireland, Ireland. ''The Herald'' is a nationwide mid-market tabloid newspaper headquartered in Dublin, Ireland, and published by Independent News & Media who are a subsidiary of Mediahuis. It is published Monday–Saturday. The newspaper was known as the ''Evening Herald'' until its name was changed in 2013.
