''Mazdoor'' (English: ''Worker'') is a 1983 Hindi film. Produced by B. R. Chopra it is directed by his son Ravi Chopra. The film stars Dilip Kumar, Nanda (actress), Nanda, Raj Babbar, Suresh Oberoi, Rati Agnihotri, Padmini Kolhapure, Iftekhar, Madan Puri and Johnny Walker (actor), Johnny Walker. The music of the film is by R. D. Burman. This was veteran actress Nanda's final appearance before her retirement from acting. Plot The son of Mr. Sinha (Nazir Hussain, Suresh Oberoi) changes everything in order to maximize profits. This brings him into conflict with his employees including Dinanath Saxena. When Dinanath openly confronts Hiralal in a public meeting, Hiralal wants him to tender a written apology, but Dinanath instead resigns and decides to open his very own mill with the help of a struggling Engineer, Ashok Mathur. Ravi Chopra
Ravi Chopra (27 September 1946 – 12 November 2014) was an Indian film and television director, producer and screenwriter. Early life Chopra was the son of producer and director B.R.Chopra and nephew of Yash Chopra. Aditya Chopra and Uday Chopra are his cousins. Career Film career Chopra started his career assisting his father B.R. Chopra in films like, '' Dastaan'' (1972) and '' Dhund'' (1973). He also assisted his uncle Yash Chopra in '' Ittefaq'' (1969). Eventually, he made his independent directorial debut with '' Zameer'' (1975), produced under the family banner, B. R. Films. Mahendra Kapoor (9 January 1934 – 27 September 2008) was an Indian playback singer. In a long career spanning decades, his repertoire included popular songs such as ''Chalo ekbaar phir se Ajnabi ban jayen hum dono'' ( Gumrah) and ''Neele Gagan ke tale'' (Hamraaz).
