Jerry Demings
Jerry L. Demings (born June 12, 1959) is an American politician and former law enforcement officer serving as Mayor of Orange County, Florida, in office since 2018. A Democrat, he previously served as Sheriff of Orange County, Florida, from 2009 to December 2018, and served as Chief of the Orlando Police Department and Director of Public Safety for Orange County, Florida. He was elected Mayor of Orange County in August 2018, becoming the first Democrat and first African American to be elected to that office. Central Florida is a region of the U.S. state of Florida. Linda Chapin
Linda Welch Chapin is a politician in the U.S. state of Florida. She was the first chair of the Orange County Commission, an unsuccessful candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives, and Orange County's first mayor. Early life Linda Welch received her early education at the Old Greenwich School in Greenwich, Connecticut and eventually studied political science and journalism at Michigan State University. Richard T. Crotty (born August 30, 1948 in Dobbs Ferry, New York) is an American politician who served as the Mayor of Orange County, Florida. Biography Crotty grew up in Orlando. He graduated from Valencia Community College in 1970 and University of Central Florida in 1972, and he also attended Florida State University. After three years doing waste manage consultation under contract from the United States Environmental Protection Agency, he was selected to the Orlando Chamber of Commerce's first "Leadership Orlando" program.
