Mayhem Festival 2014
Mayhem Festival 2014 was the seventh annual Mayhem Festival. Dates were announced on February 18, 2014, and lineup officially announced March 31, 2014. In a January 2014 video interview at NAMM, Korn guitarist James 'Munky' Shaffer revealed that Korn and Avenged Sevenfold would headline the 2014 Mayhem Festival. On March 5, over 3 weeks ahead of the scheduled official announcement, nearly the entire lineup leaked. Mayhem Festival
The Mayhem Festival was a touring Heavy metal music, heavy metal festival that took place during the summer. The inaugural season took place in 2008; the festival later became an annual event across the United States. Most years also included a single date in either Montreal or Toronto, Canada. The tour had been sponsored by the Rockstar (drink), Rockstar Energy Company since the time of its inception. It was assembled by Warped Tour, Vans Warped Tour founder Kevin Lyman and John Reese (who was Lyman's partner on the Taste of Chaos tour). On August 2, 2015, Reese confirmed that the 2015 staple of the festival would be the last one. On November 30, 2019, a post to the festival's Instagram account confirmed the festival's return in 2020. However, due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the festival was postponed to 2021, although it did not happen. Wretched's musical style incorporates elements of melodic death metal, deathcore, and technical death metal. Ill Niño (stylized as ill niño) is an American metal band formed in Union City, New Jersey, in 1998 by drummer and percussionist Dave Chavarri. They have released seven studio albums, two EPs and one compilation album, totaling in over 1.3 million worldwide album sales. History Ill Niño was formed as El Niño by former Pro-Pain drummer David "Dave" Chavarri in May 1998.
