Florida Mayhem
Florida Mayhem is an American professional ''Overwatch'' esports team based in Miami and Orlando, Florida. The team competes in the Overwatch League (OWL) as a member of the league's West Division. Founded in 2017, Florida Mayhem is one of the league's twelve founding members and is owned and operated by Florida-based esports organization Misfits Gaming and CEO Ben Spoont. The organization also ran Mayhem Academy, an academy team for the Mayhem that competed in Overwatch Contenders. The Mayhem made their first season playoffs appearance in franchise history in the 2020 season. Mayhem (band)
Mayhem is a Norwegian black metal band formed in Langhus in 1984. They were one of the founders of the Norwegian black metal scene and their music has strongly influenced the black metal genre. Mayhem's early career was highly controversial, primarily due to their notorious live performances, the 1991 suicide of vocalist Per Yngve Ohlin ("Dead") and the 1993 murder of guitarist Øystein Aarseth ("Euronymous") by former member Varg Vikernes ("Count Grishnackh") of Burzum. The group released a demo and an EP that were highly influential, and amassed a loyal following through sporadic and notorious live performances, attracting further attention through their ties to the string of Norwegian church burnings and the incidents of violence surrounding them. Jason Nicholas Miller (born December 24, 1980) best known as Mayhem Miller is an American mixed martial arts fighter and TV host. Miller coaches fighters in Irvine, California at Mayhem Martial Arts and has trained extensively with Kings MMA in Huntington Beach, California. He has fought in the UFC, Strikeforce, WFA, WEC and DREAM. Miller was the host of MTV's reality series ''Bully Beatdown''. Early life Miller was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and he grew up in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Miller's father was a paratrooper in the United States Army's 82nd Airborne Division. ''WCW Mayhem'' is a professional wrestling video game published by Electronic Arts, based on the American promotion World Championship Wrestling (WCW). The first WCW game produced by EA, it was released for Nintendo 64 and PlayStation in 1999 and for the Game Boy Color the following year. The game featured several firsts for a wrestling title. Mayhem Miller is the stage name of Dequan Armand Johnson (born February 9, 1982), an American drag performer and actor, best known for competing on the tenth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race'' (2018) and the fifth season of ''RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars'' (2020). Mayhem (Brigid O'Reilly) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Mayhem (1999) was the inaugural Mayhem professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by World Championship Wrestling (WCW), presented by Electronic Arts (in which the event was named after the EA-published video game of the same name). The event took place on November 21, 1999 from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Twelve matches were contested at the event, with the most notable feature being a thirty-two man tournament for the vacated WCW World Heavyweight Championship. The title had been vacated after previous champion Sting attacked a referee at Halloween Havoc and Goldberg defeated Sting for the title in an unsanctioned match.
