Mayaponman () is a 1997 Indian Malayalam-language film directed by Thulasidas. It had Dileep, Kalabhavan Mani and Mohini. The film was produced by V. V. Antony, P. A. Velayudhan and P. C. Ealias under the banner of King Star Productions and was distributed by Seven Star Release. The story, script and dialogues were by J. Pallassery. The plot is loosely based on the 1987 American romantic comedy film '' Overboard''. Kalabhavan Mani
Kunnisseri Veettil Raman Mani (1 January 1971 – 6 March 2016), better known by his stage name Kalabhavan Mani, was an Indian actor and singer. Mani started his career as a mimicry artist with the Kalabhavan comedy troupe. He had starred in over 250 films, including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu films, and was renowned for his humorous characters and villain roles. K. N. Jagannatha Varma (1 May 1939 – 20 December 2016) was an Indian actor who worked in Malayalam film and television industry. He was also a Kathakali artist. His son Manu Varma is also an artist and his son-in-law Viji Thampi is a film director. He acted in a number of Malayalam movies performing stereotypical roles of a senior police officer, judge or a priest. Some of his noted roles were in movies ''New Delhi'' (1987), Thanthram (1988), ''Lelam'' (1997) and ''Pathram'' (1999), all directed by Joshiy.
