Maya Reaidy
Maya Reaidy ( ar, مايا رعيدي, born 14 November 1995) is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Lebanon 2018. She represented Lebanon at the Miss Universe 2018 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand. Personal life Reaidy was born and raised in Tannourine. She is an only child to a Lebanese father and a Russian mother. She went to Jesus and Mary Collège, then to an Evangelical School in Lebanon. She studied pharmacy at Lebanese American University in Beirut. Reaidy is a ballet dancer, enjoys practicing yoga and declares herself to be a vegetarian. She credited Amal Clooney as being one of the inspiring public figures she admires the most for her fight for women's rights. Rima Fakih Slaiby ( ar, ريما فقيه; born September 22, 1985) is a Lebanese American model, philanthropist, former professional wrestler and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss USA 2010. Having previously been crowned Miss Michigan USA 2010, Fakih was the first Arab American woman and the third woman from Michigan to win the Miss USA title. Fakih was a contestant in season five of ''WWE Tough Enough'', where she trained to become a professional wrestler. Tannourine ( ar, تنورين, also Tannoureen, Tannorine) is a Lebanese town located in the Batroun District, part of the Governorate of North Lebanon, 80 km from the capital Beirut. Miss USA 2009 was the 58th Miss USA pageant, held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on April 19, 2009. At the conclusion of the final night of competition, Kristen Dalton of North Carolina was crowned by outgoing titleholder Crystle Stewart of Texas. The event was hosted by Billy Bush of Access Hollywood and actress Nadine Velazquez; Bush returned to host the pageant which he last emceed in 2005. Miss USA is an American beauty pageant that has been held annually since 1952 to select the entrant from United States in the Miss Universe pageant. Murr Television, marketed and known as MTV Lebanon, is a Lebanese television station based in Naccache, Metn District. History Founded in 1991 by Gabriel Murr, a Lebanese businessman and politician.
