Maxwell Konadu (born 4 December 1972) is a Manager (association football), football coach and a retired Ghana national football team, Ghana international Association football, football player. He was the head coach of the Asante Kotoko F.C., Asante Kotoko, the manager of the Ghana national under-23 football team, and formerly the Manager (association football), manager of Ghana Premier League, Glo Premier League club Asante Kotoko F.C., Asante Kotoko. Konadu was a member of the Ghana national football team, Men's National Team that won the bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Football At The 1992 Summer Olympics
The football competition at the 1992 Summer Olympics featured 16 national sides from the six continental confederations. The 16 teams were drawn into four groups of four and each group played a round-robin tournament. At the end of the group stage, the top two teams advanced to the knockout stage, beginning with the quarter-finals and culminating with the gold medal match at Camp Nou on 8 August 1992. For the first time, an age limit has been set for participants under the age of 23, which has been used ever since. Spain became the first host country to win the gold medal in an Olympic football tournament since Belgium in 1920, an achievement which would not be repeated again until Brazil won it in 2016. The Liga Portugal 2 (), also known as Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG for sponsorship reasons, is the second-highest division of the Portuguese football league system.
