Max Stryjek
Maksymilian Stryjek (born 18 July 1996) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Wycombe Wanderers. He was a Poland youth international. He will join Polish club Jagiellonia Białystok on 1 July 2024. Club career Born in Warsaw, Stryjek began playing football for his school at the age of 6. He signed for Polonia Warsaw at the age of 11. He moved to English club Sunderland in 2013, following a trial with the club. He spent a loan spell with Boston United in 2015, making 10 league and 2 cup appearances for them. In February 2016 he signed a new contract with Sunderland, lasting until 2019, and in July 2017 he made his senior debut for the club, in a friendly game. 2017 UEFA Under-21 European Championship
The 2017 UEFA European Under-21 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-21 Euro 2017) was the 21st edition of the UEFA European Under-21 Championship, a biennial international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-21 national teams of Europe. The final tournament was hosted in Poland for the first time, after their bid was selected by the UEFA Executive Committee on 26 January 2015 in Nyon, Switzerland. The tournament took place from 16–30 June 2017. Players born on or after 1 January 1994 were eligible for the tournament. 2024 English Football League Play-offs
The English Football League play-offs for the 2023–24 season (referred to as the Sky Bet Play-Offs for sponsorship reasons) were held in May 2024 with all finals being staged at Wembley Stadium in London. The play-offs began in each league with two semi-finals which were played over two legs. The teams who finished in 3rd to 6th place in the Championship and League One and the 4th to 7th-placed teams in League Two competed. The winners of the semi-finals advanced to the finals, with the winners gaining promotion for the following season.
