Mausoleum Of Sheikh Zaynudin
The Mausoleum of Sheikh Zaynudin Bobo is located in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Sheikh Zaynudin Bobo was a writer and popularizer of the Sufi order known as Suhrawardiyya. The exact date of his birth is unknown. It is believed that Sheikh Zaynudin died when he was 95. Arguably he was a son of the founder of the Suhrawardiyya order, Diya al-din Abu 'n-Najib as-Surawardi (1097–1168), who sent his son Sheikh Zaynudin to Tashkent to spread the ideas of his order. Sheikh Zaynudin is said to have been conveyed to earth at the graveyard of Orifon village beyond the Kukcha Gate (now within the Tashkent). There is an underground cell ( chillahona) dating to the 12th century in the mausoleum, where Sheikh Zaynudin conducted his 40-day meditations ( chilla) and chartakdating back to the 14th century. Suhrawardiyya
The Suhrawardiyya ( ar, سهروردية, fa, سهروردیه) is a Sufi order founded by Abu al-Najib Suhrawardi (died 1168). Lacking a centralised structure, it eventually divided into various branches. The order was especially prominent in India. The ideology of the Suhrawardiyya was inspired by Junayd of Baghdad (died 910) a Persian scholar and mystic from Baghdad. Under the Ilkhanate (1256–1335), the Suhrawardiyya was one of the three leading Sufi orders, and was based in western Iran. Kukcha Gate
The Gates of Tashkent, in present-day Uzbekistan, were built around the town at the close of the 10th century, but did not survive to the present. The last gate was destroyed in 1890 as a result of the growth of the city, but some of the districts in Tashkent still bear the names of these gates. History and architecture The gates formed a part of the city fortifications, which had been constructed around the new settlement on the banks of the Bozsuv canal (the canal starts from the right shore of Chirchik river) at the intersection of caravan roads from Tien Shan Mountains. In this ritual a mendicant or ascetic attempts to remain seated in a circle practicing meditation techniques without food for 40 days and nights in imitation of the Arba'een. Sheihantaur
Sheihantaur, the mausoleum of Sheikh Hovendi at-Tahur, is an architectural monument in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Hovendi at-Tahur Sheikh Hovendi at-Tahur (Sheihantaur) was born at the end of the 13th century. He was a sayyid, meaning that he claimed descent from the Quraish, the tribe of the prophet Muhammad. His father, Sheikh Umar, was believed to be a direct descendant in the seventeenth generation of Umar ibn al-Khattab, therefore male members of this family also bore the title of '' Khoja & Arif'' (''Khwaja'').
