Maurice Dallimore
Maurice Albert Dallimore (23 June 1912 – 20 February 1973) was an English actor who lived and worked mostly in the United States. Most noted for portraying proper British character roles, he appeared as a regular or recurring character on many TV shows which included such series as ''77 Sunset Strip'', ''The Jack Benny Show'', the ABC-TV series ''Honey West (TV series), Honey West'', ''McHale's Navy'', the American Broadcasting Company, ABC-TV series ''Batman (TV series), Batman'', where he appeared as Superintendent Watson, ''I Dream of Jeannie'', ''The Monkees (TV series), The Monkees'' and ''Fair Exchange (TV series), Fair Exchange''. He appeared in an episode of ''The Tab Hunter Show'' in 1961. In 1965, he appeared on ''Petticoat Junction'', playing Faversham in the episode "The Butler Did It". ''Tender Is the Night'' is a 1962 American film directed by Henry King and starring Jennifer Jones and Jason Robards, Jr. King's last film, it is based on the 1934 novel of the same name by F. Scott Fitzgerald. The soundtrack featured a song, also called "Tender Is the Night", by Sammy Fain (music) and Paul Francis Webster (lyrics), which was nominated for the 1962 Academy Award for Best Song. ''The Million Dollar Duck'' (also titled as ''$1,000,000 Duck'') is a 1971 American comedy film produced by Walt Disney Productions based on the goose that lays golden eggs scenario. ''Johnny Got His Gun'' is a 1971 American drama anti-war film written and directed by Dalton Trumbo, in his directorial debut, based on his 1939 novel of the same name, with an uncredited writing collaboration by Luis Buñuel.
