Matías Enrique Paredes (born 1 February 1982) is an Argentine field hockey player who plays as a midfielder or forward for Ducilo and the Argentine national team. Club career Paredes started his club career with Ducilo at age four in his native Argentina, before moving to Germany to play with UHC Hamburg in 2002. He then moved on to the Netherlands to play for Laren. He also played for SCHC in Bilthoven, Netherlands. Matías Ezequiel Zaldívar (born 4 August 1995) is an Argentine professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Círculo Deportivo. Career Zaldívar started his career with Argentine Primera División team Arsenal de Sarandí and made his first-team debut for the club on 11 May 2014 against Belgrano as he came on for the final few seconds. Vicente José Matías Vuoso (born 3 November 1981) is a former professional footballer who played as a striker. Born in Argentina, he played for the Mexico national team. Born in Mar del Plata, Vuoso began his career at Independiente in 2000, then transferring to English club Manchester City in 2002, where he did not play in a single league match. Since 2003 he has played in Mexico, having two stints with Santos Laguna and Club América, as well as playing for Atlas and Chiapas. Matías Romero Avendaño (24 February 1837 – 30 December 1898) was a Mexican politician and diplomat who served three times as Secretary of Finance and twice as ambassador of Mexico to the United States during the 19th century. Early life Romero began preparatory courses in Law while still living in Oaxaca. In 1855 he moved to Mexico City, and he received his law degree on 12 October 1857. He joined the liberals under command of General Ignacio Zaragoza, and traveled to Guanajuato to join the Army. However, he was instead commissioned into the Ministry of Relations. He accompanied Juárez to Guadalajara, but was briefly imprisoned by Commander Landa. After being freed, he followed Juárez to Veracruz via Panamá. Matías Prats Cañete MML (4 December 1913 – 8 September 2004) was a Spanish radio and television journalist. He was best known for his sports narrations and for being the narrator of the No-Do during part of the franquism period. He is father of Matías Prats Luque, who is also a journalist and anchor on Antena 3 and grandfather of Matías Prats Chacón, a sports host in Telecinco.
