Matty Robson
Matthew James Robson (born 23 January 1985) is a former professional footballer who played as a left winger or left back for Hartlepool United, Carlisle United and Shildon. Biography Hartlepool United Robson came through Hartlepool's youth development programme, following in the footsteps of Antony Sweeney, Jim Provett and Adam Boyd. While playing for the youth team, Robson gained the reputation of being a quick and pacey winger with a keen eye for set pieces. He won Hartlepool's Young Player of the Year Award for 2002–03. For the 2003–04 season, manager Neale Cooper promoted him to the first team in order to fill the team's "problem position" of left back. Robson scored on his debut in Hartlepool's first match of the 2003–04 Second Division campaign, in a 4–3 win against Peterborough United. Coxhoe
Coxhoe is a village in County Durham, England. It is situated about south of Durham City centre. The civil parish also includes nearby Quarrington Hill. The electoral ward of Coxhoe stretches beyond the boundaries of the parish and has a total population of 7,027. History The earliest artefact to have been found in the area is a simple Bronze Age axe. There are few other remains from before the medieval period. The area only really developed in the medieval period. Another now deserted, village also grew up at Coxhoe East House, but this was probably deserted by the early 15th century. The modern village of Coxhoe developed during the 18th and 19th centuries, spurred by coal mining, first recorded in 1750. 2010–11 Football League Trophy
The 2010–11 Football League Trophy, known as the Johnstone's Paint Trophy for sponsorship reasons, is the 28th season in the history of the competition. It is a knock-out tournament for English football clubs in League One and League Two, the third and fourth tiers of English football. In all, 48 clubs entered the competition. Greg Abbott (footballer)
Gregory Stephen Abbott (born 14 December 1963) is an English football coach and former player who is the head of recruitment of Carlisle United. He played as a right back or midfielder. Abbott was the manager of Carlisle United from December 2008 until September 2013. Born in Coventry, Abbott started his career with his hometown team Coventry City. He was released without playing a game but recommended to Bradford City, where he won the Division Three title in the 1984–85 season and went on to play more than 300 games. He had spells with Halifax Town and non-league Guiseley before he returned to The Football League with former manager Terry Dolan at Hull City. He spent four seasons with Hull playing another 100 games to take his career total to in excess of 500 first team matches. After retiring, he went into coaching.
