Matti Risto Väinö Jaatinen (15 April 1928, Jyväskylä – 29 July 2005) was a Finnish politician. He was a Member of the Parliament of Finland from 1970 to 1984, representing the National Coalition Party. Jyväskylä () is a city and municipality in Finland in the western part of the Finnish Lakeland. It is located about 150 km north-east from Tampere, the third largest city in Finland; and about 270 km north from Helsinki, the capital of Finland. Kymi Province
The Kymi Province ( fi, Kymen lääni, sv, Kymmene län) was a province of Finland from 1945 to 1997. The Kymi Province was the remainder of the territory from the Viipuri Province after the main part was left to Russia at the Moscow Armistice in 1944. By the Paris Peace Treaty in 1947, territories on the Karelian Isthmus and around of the Lake Ladoga were formally ceded to the Soviet Union. In 1997, the Kymi Province was merged with the Uusimaa Province and the southern parts of the Häme Province into the new Southern Finland Province.
