Matthew Phillip "Matt" Gibb (born 15 January 1981) is a television presenter in Auckland, New Zealand. He is best known for presenting the children's television show ''Studio 2'' from 2004 until 2010. In 2015 Gibb was also a regular presenter for a segment on ''Kiwi Living'', a New Zealand lifestyle television programme. He also fronted the Telecom campaign "Tech in a Sec" and has been known to host the weekly Lotto draw, and had a stint co-presenting the breakfast television programme ''Good Morning''. ''1 News'' (stylised as ''1News'') is the news division of New Zealand television network TVNZ. The service is broadcast live from TVNZ Centre in Auckland. The flagship news bulletin is the nightly 6 pm news hour, but ''1 News'' also has midday and late night news bulletins, as well as current affairs shows such as ''Breakfast'' and ''Seven Sharp''. ''Seven Sharp'' is a half-hour-long New Zealand current affairs programme produced by Television New Zealand. The programme was created after the discontinuation of ''Close Up''. It is broadcast live from the TVNZ studio it shares with ''1 News'' in Auckland, at 7 pm (straight after '' 1 News at Six'') every weekday on TVNZ 1. ''Seven Sharp'' typically presents 3 stories within a 30-minute timeslot every weeknight, and is designed to be more integrated with social media and real time opinions than its predecessor. ''Studio 2 LIVE'' was a New Zealand children's television show. It was originally named ''Studio 2'' up until 2010, when it was renamed Studio 2 LIVE. It premiered on 22 March 2004 after ''WNTV'' (''What Now''s afternoon show) was cancelled. It screened weekdays on TV2. The series ended on 1 October 2010. ''Studio 2 LIVE'' had an interactive website called "The Hub" where the presenters chatted to fans even after the series ended on 1 October 2010. However, the website closed down in August 2011. The Court Jesters
The Court Jesters is a professional improv company founded in 1989 and based in Christchurch, New Zealand. It is a subsidiary of the Court Theatre professional theatre company, acting as a second company within the theatre. The group provide entertainment for corporate and private clients, run weekly community improv workshops and an annual Theatresports competition for high schools, as well as performing their own weekly or twice-weekly improv comedy show, ''Scared Scriptless''. History Origins Theatresports at The Court Theatre began in 1987 under the direction of Bryan Aitken and Judie Douglass. Gary McCormick is a New Zealand poet, radio and television personality, debater and raconteur. McCormick began writing poetry in 1968. His published volumes are Gypsies (with Jon Benson, 1974), Naked and Nameless (1976), Poems for the Red Engine (1978), Poems by Request (1979), Scarlet Letters (1980), Zephyr (1982) and Lost at Sea (1995).
