Matthew Baldwin
Matthew David Baldwin (born 26 February 1986) is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. Baldwin was captain of the England Boys side before turning professional in 2008. In 2009 he played on the third-tier Alps Tour and finished 23rd on the Order of Merit, with six top-ten finishes. He made several appearances on the second-tier Challenge Tour in 2010, and performed well enough to finish 82nd on the final standings and gain full status for 2011. In October 2011, he won for the first time on the Challenge Tour at the Fred Olsen Challenge de España. This sealed his promotion to the main European Tour for 2012. He played well enough in his first full season to retain his playing rights, finishing 72nd on the Order of Merit. Baldwin is from Southport, Lancashire - the same home town as fellow professional golfer Tommy Fleetwood. His grandfather is the former professional rugby league footballer Ron Ryder. Jack Senior (born 18 July 1988) is an English professional golfer who plays on the European Tour. He has won twice on the Challenge Tour. Amateur career Senior won the Egyptian Amateur in 2010 and the New South Wales Amateur and Lytham Trophy in 2011. He played on the winning Great Britain & Ireland team in the 2011 Walker Cup and turned professional shortly after. Professional career Senior has played on the Alps Tour and the PGA EuroPro Tour. The Jacques Léglise Trophy is an annual amateur boys' team golf competition between Great Britain & Ireland and the Continent of Europe. It was first played in 1977, as a one-day match before the Boys Amateur Championship, but since 1996 it has been played as a separate two-day match. The venue generally alternates between Great Britain and Ireland and the continent. The European Boys' Team Championship (Jean-Louis Dupont Trophy) is a European amateur team golf championship for men up to 18 organized by the European Golf Association. The inaugural event was held in 1980 and it has been played annually since.
