Matt Vaughn
Matt Vaughn is an American baseball coach and former pitcher. He played college baseball at UC Davis for head coach Phil Swimley. Playing career Vaughn pitched for UC Davis for four years, appearing in 37 games. He was honorable mention all-conference in his senior season, winning his final three starts as an Aggie. Coaching career UC Davis hired Vaughn as a pitching coach for the first season after his graduation. He worked with a pair of Division II College World Series teams in 1995 and 2003, and assisted in the first Aggie team to reach the Division I NCAA Tournament in 2008. Baseball is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of nine players each, taking turns batting and fielding. The 2021 NCAA Division I baseball season play of college baseball in the United States organized by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division I level, began on February 19, 2021. Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a contagious disease caused by a virus, the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
