Matt Mills (racing Driver)
Matthew R. Mills (born November 14, 1996) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the Nos. 5, 55, 78, and 99 Chevrolet Camaros for B. J. McLeod Motorsports and part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 20 Chevrolet Silverado for Young's Motorsports. Racing career Early years Mills started racing at age twelve in go-karts. A year later, he moved up to Junior Champ Karts and spent three years racing those. Mills started racing Open Wheel Modifieds at Midvale Speedway in 2012, winning rookie of the year and moving up to Outlaw Super Late Models in 2013. He attended a rookie seminar for NASCAR at Daytona Beach, Florida the following year and received clearance to race in the ARCA Racing Series and K&N Pro Series, but has yet to race in either of those series, instead running a limited schedule in the JEGS/CRA Pro Series in 2015 as well as continuing his late model career. Richmond Raceway (RR) is a , ''D''-shaped, asphalt race track located just outside Richmond, Virginia in unincorporated Henrico County. 2022 North Carolina Education Lottery 200
The 2022 North Carolina Education Lottery 200 was the tenth stock car race of the 2022 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and the 20th iteration of the event. The race was held on Friday, May 27, 2022, in Concord, North Carolina at Charlotte Motor Speedway, a permanent quad-oval racetrack. The race was increased from 134 laps to 143 laps, due to several NASCAR overtime finishes, Ross Chastain, driving for Niece Motorsports, would take the win, after taking advantage of the lead on the final restart. It was his 4th career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series win, and his first of the season. NASCAR K&N Pro Series West
The ARCA Menards Series West, formerly the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, NASCAR AutoZone West Series, NASCAR Winston West Series and NASCAR Camping World West Series, is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the NASCAR, National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck based stock cars.
