Matt Hubbard (musician)
Matthew Hubbard is an American musician best known for his work with Willie Nelson and with the band 7 Walkers. Career Matt Hubbard began his career by studying electronic music at Oberlin Conservatory. He began working with Willie Nelson in 1998 and has been running Nelson's home studio in Luck, TX since 2000. Matt co-produced Willie Nelson's "Rainbow Connection" (Island/Def Jam 2001) which was nominated for the Country Album of the Year Grammy Award. He has also done extensive work as a recording engineer and session musician playing keyboards, harmonica, trombone and other instruments. Some of the artists Matt has performed with and/or recorded include Ray Price, Archie Bell, Billy Bob Thornton, Papa Mali, Calvin Russell, Carolyn Wonderland, Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, and World Idol winner Kurt Nilsen. Trombone
The trombone (german: Posaune, Italian, French: ''trombone'') is a musical instrument in the Brass instrument, brass family. As with all brass instruments, sound is produced when the player's vibrating lips cause the Standing wave, air column inside the instrument to vibrate. Nearly all trombones use a telescoping slide mechanism to alter the Pitch (music), pitch instead of the brass instrument valve, valves used by other brass instruments. The valve trombone is an exception, using three valves similar to those on a trumpet, and the superbone has valves and a slide. The word "trombone" derives from Italian ''tromba'' (trumpet) and ''-one'' (a suffix meaning "large"), so the name means "large trumpet". Fastball (band)
Fastball is an American rock band that formed in Austin, Texas in 1995. The band originally called themselves Magneto U.S.A. but changed their name after signing with Hollywood Records. In 1998, their album ''All the Pain Money Can Buy'' reached platinum sales within six months of its release, and stayed on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart for a year. Their songs " The Way" and " Out of My Head" reached #1 and #14 on ''Billboards Adult Alternative Songs chart. In addition, the group has been nominated for two Grammy Awards – Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for "The Way", and Best Long Form Music Video for their promotional video "The Way". George Porter Jr
George Porter Jr. (born December 26, 1947) is an American musician, best known as the bassist and singer of The Meters. Along with Art Neville, Porter formed the group in the mid 1960s and came to be recognized as one of the progenitors of funk. The Meters disbanded in 1977, but reformed in 1989. The original group played the occasional reunion, with the Funky Meters, of which Porter and Neville are members, keeping the spirit alive, until Neville's retirement in 2018 and death the following year. William Kreutzmann Jr. ( ; born May 7, 1946) is an American drummer and founding member of the rock band Grateful Dead.
