Matthew Gray (born 16 September 1981) is an English professional Association football, football Manager (association football), manager and former player who is the current head coach of the EFL League Two club Sutton United F.C., Sutton United. Playing career A youth product of Tottenham Hotspur F.C., Tottenham Hotspur and Cardiff City F.C., Cardiff City, Gray had an unassuming senior career in the National League (division), National League. He began his senior career at Barnet F.C., Barnet, with stints at Hayes F.C., Hayes, and Havant & Waterlooville F.C., Havant & Waterlooville where he was appointed the captain. Ian James Baird (born 1 April 1964) is an English former professional footballer whose most notable spells were as a Leeds United player. During his first period at the club he spent a season as captain. He won a player of the year award in his second stint in West Yorkshire, as well as a Second Division Championship medal (following his departure). He played as a striker.
