Matthew James Godden (born 29 July 1991) is an English professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football), striker for club Coventry City F.C., Coventry City. Godden began his career playing for Scunthorpe United F.C., Scunthorpe United, where he signed professional terms in 2009. During his time at Scunthorpe, he was Loan (sports), loaned out on eight occasions in order to gain experience playing first-team football. He joined Ebbsfleet United F.C., Ebbsfleet United of the National League (division), Conference Premier, one of the clubs he had spent time on loan at, on a permanent basis in May 2014. Godden spent two seasons at Ebbsfleet, before making a return to the English Football League, Football League when he signed for Stevenage in June 2016. Nigel Adkins
Nigel Howard Adkins (born 11 March 1965) is an English professional football manager and former player and physiotherapist. Adkins played as a goalkeeper for Tranmere Rovers and Wigan Athletic. He finished his playing career and began his managerial career at Welsh club Bangor City before spells at Scunthorpe United (where he had previously been the club physiotherapist) and Southampton, where he led both clubs to promotion. His tenure with the latter was noted for taking ''the Saints'' from League One to the Premier League in successive seasons. Northern Premier League
The Northern Premier League is an English football league that was founded in 1968. It has four divisions: the Premier Division (which stands at level 7 of the English football league system), Division One East, Division One West and Division One Midlands (which stand at level 8). Geographically, the league covers all of Northern England and the northern/central areas of the Midlands, and western parts of East Anglia.
