Matt Clark (born November 25, 1936) is an American actor. He is best known for his roles in Western films. Clark directed the 1988 film '' Da'', as well as one episode from the television series ''CBS Schoolbreak Special'' and two episodes from the television series ''Midnight Caller''. The screenplay was written by Irish playwright and journalist Hugh Leonard, who adapted it from his 1978 play '' Da'', with additional material from his autobiographical book ''Home Before Night''. ''Midnight Caller'' is an American drama television series created by Richard DiLello, which aired on NBC from October 25, 1988, to May 17, 1991. It was one of the first television series to address the dramatic possibilities of the then-growing phenomenon of talk radio. Premise Jack Killian is a former San Francisco police detective who quits the force after he accidentally shot his partner dead in a confrontation with armed criminals.
