Mathilde Halse
Mathilde Emma Halse (born 2 May 1999) is a Danish curler from Gentofte. She competed in the 2018 Winter Olympics and 2022 Winter Olympics. She currently plays third on the Danish National Women's Curling Team skipped by Madeleine Dupont. Career She started curling in 2014. Before that she was a figure skater. Halse became the skip of the Danish National Junior Women's Curling Team in 2019, where she skipped the team at the 2019 World Junior-B Curling Championships (January). They lost in the quarterfinals and would not qualify for the World Juniors. Later that year, she became the skip of the National Women's Team and represented Denmark at the 2019 European Curling Championships, where they went 2–7. Nuuk
Nuuk (; da, Nuuk, formerly ) is the capital and largest city of Greenland, a constituent country of the Kingdom of Denmark. Silvana Petra Tirinzoni (born 25 June 1979) is a Swiss curler from Zurich. She is currently the reigning women's world champion skip having won the last three championships, in 2019, 2021 and . Tirinzoni also represented Switzerland at the 2022 Winter Olympics and 2018 Winter Olympics, after winning the 2017 Swiss Olympic Curling Trials. Career In 1997, Tirinzoni was the Swiss alternate for Bianca Röthlisberger at the World Junior Curling Championships. The team finished seventh. The following year, Tirinzoni was the Swiss skip at the World Juniors, and she and her team of Michèle Knobel, Brigitte Schori and Martina von Arx finished sixth. Tabitha Skelly Peterson (born March 6, 1989) is an American curler from Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was a bronze medalist at the 2010 World Junior Championships and is a two-time women's national champion. She currently is skip of her own team, having traded positions with Nina Roth during the 2020 off-season. Career Junior As a junior, Peterson was a four-time state champion curler and won U.S. national junior championships in 2009 and 2010. In 2009, Peterson played third on her junior rink, skipped by Alexandra Carlson. After winning the U.S. junior title, the team would represent the United States at the 2009 World Junior Curling Championships. The team finished the round robin with a 4–5 record, finishing 5th. 2021 World Women's Curling Championship
The 2021 World Women's Curling Championship (branded as 2021 LGT World Women's Curling Championship for sponsorship reasons) was held 30 April to 9 May at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. The event was originally awarded to Schaffhausen, Switzerland. In February 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, local authorities withdrew permission to host the event. On 5 March 2021, the championship was moved to Calgary. The event was held in a centralized "bubble" at Canada Olympic Park, which also hosted the men's world championship, as well as all major Curling Canada championships leading up to the Worlds.
