Pieter Verhoeff
Pieter Verhoeff (4 February 1938 – 17 April 2019) was a Dutch film director. He studied at the Netherlands Film and Television Academy and graduated in 1966. He is known for his films '' The Mark of the Beast'', '' The Dream'' and '' The Moving True Story of a Woman Ahead of Her Time''. All three stories take place in his native Friesland. He won two Golden Calf's in his career. Monic Hendrickx
Monic Hendrickx (born 3 December 1966 in Sint Anthonis) is a Dutch actress. She has won several awards during her career including four Golden Calf awards for Best Actress at the Nederlands Film Festival, the Jury Award at the 2001 Newport Beach Film Festival and the Best Actress Award at the 1999 Buenos Aires International Festival of Independent Cinema. Early life Monic Hendrickx was born in 1966 in the Netherlands. At the age of three, she and her family moved to Paramaribo, Suriname. Eventually Hendrickx started her acting education at Toneelschool in Maastricht. Career Hendrickx made her screen debut in '' The Polish Bride''. In 2007 she filmed an English language adaptation of '' The Polish Bride'' in Australia. Helmert Woudenberg
Friedrich Robert Helmert (31 July 1843 – 15 June 1917) was a German geodesist and statistician with important contributions to the theory of errors. Career Helmert was born in Freiberg, Kingdom of Saxony. After schooling in Freiberg and Dresden, he entered the Polytechnische Schule, now Technische Universität, in Dresden to study engineering science in 1859. Finding him especially enthusiastic about geodesy, one of his teachers, Christian August Nagel, hired him while still a student to work on the triangulation of the Erzgebirge and the drafting of the trigonometric network for Saxony. In 1863 Helmert became Nagel's assistant on the Central European Arc Measurement. After a year's study of mathematics and astronomy Helmert obtained his doctor's degree from the University of Leipzig in 1867 for a thesis based on his work for Nagel. Roef Ragas
Rudolphus Henricus Cornelis "Roef" Ragas (25 May 1965 – 30 August 2007) was a Dutch actor from Harderwijk. He was the older brother of Bastiaan and Jeroen Ragas. From 1984 to 1990 Ragas studied Dutch at the University of Amsterdam. He graduated on the phenomenon of "time" in " De zondvloed" by Jeroen Brouwers. Then he went to the Amsterdam Theatre School, where he graduated in 1994. He was a founding member of the Association of New Film and Television Makers, NFTVM, and sat on the board of the Dutch Association of Film and Television Makers, NBF, and the Dutch Film Festival. Ragas had a relationship since 1990 and was married to actress Susan Visser. Together they had two children. On 30 August 2007 Ragas died of sudden cardiac arrest at the age of 42, during a visit to ''Harkema'' restaurant. On Thursday 6 September 2007 he was buried in Zorgvlied Cemetery.
