Matej Mitrović
Matej Mitrović (; born 10 November 1993) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Prva HNL side Rijeka and the Croatia national team. Club career Mitrović made his professional debut for Cibalia on 25 February 2012, aged 18, coming on as a substitute in an away win against Slaven Belupo. In September 2013, he signed a two-year contract with Rijeka in the Prva HNL. During his first season with Rijeka, Mitrović was member of the squad that won the Croatian Cup, scoring in the final against Dinamo Zagreb. In June 2016, he signed a new three-year contract which ties him with the club until June 2019. On 6 January 2017, he moved to Beşiktaş on a three-year deal for 4.2 million. On 29 January 2018, Mitrović joined Belgian club Club Brugge on a six-month long loan deal. On 20 July, he signed permanently for the club after agreeing to a four-year deal. Požega () is a city in western Slavonia, eastern Croatia, with a total population of 22,364 (census 2021). It is the administrative center of the Požega-Slavonia County. 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification – UEFA Group I
The 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification UEFA Group I was one of the nine UEFA groups for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification. The group consisted of six teams: Croatia, Iceland, Ukraine, Turkey, Finland, and Kosovo. The draw for the first round (group stage) was held as part of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Preliminary Draw on 25 July 2015, starting 18:00 MSK (UTC+3), at the Konstantinovsky Palace in Strelna, Saint Petersburg, Russia. Kosovo was added to the group after the draw, after becoming FIFA members together with Gibraltar in May 2016, and UEFA decided not to put Kosovo in group H together with Bosnia and Herzegovina for security reasons. Dejan Lovren
Dejan Lovren (; born 5 July 1989) is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Russian Premier League club Zenit Saint Petersburg and the Croatia national team. Lovren began his career at Dinamo Zagreb before moving to Olympique Lyonnais in January 2010. He spent three-and-a-half seasons with the Ligue 1 team and won the 2012 Coupe de France before he signed for Southampton in 2013. After one season with Southampton, he joined Liverpool for £20 million. He went on to make 185 appearances for the club, winning the UEFA Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020, before joining Russian champions Zenit Saint Petersburg in July 2020.
