''Mata Hari's Daughter'' (Italian: ''La figlia di Mata Hari'') is a 1954 French-Italian adventure film directed by Carmine Gallone and starring Ludmilla Tchérina, Erno Crisa and Frank Latimore.Chiti & Poppi p.158 It is based on a novel of the same title by Jacques Laurent. Carmine Gallone
Carmine Gallone (10 September 1885 – 11 March 1973) was an early Italian film director, screenwriter, and film producer, who was also controversial for his works of pro-Fascist propaganda and historical revisionism. Considered one of Italian cinema's leading early directors, he directed over 120 films in his fifty-year career between 1913 and 1963. Life and career Carmine Gallone was born as Carmelo Camillo Gallone on 10 September 1885 in Taggia (in the province of Imperia), but grew up in Naples. Béatrice Arnac (23 April 1931 – 5 October 2020) was a French actress, singer, and composer. Biography The daughter of the cartoonist Marcel Arnac, Béatrice was also the niece of explorer Marie Gallaud. In 1962, she received the Grand Prize of the Académie Charles Cros. Valery Ivanovich Inkizhinov (russian: Валерий Иванович Инкижинов; 25 March 1895 – 26 September 1973), known as Valéry Inkijinoff, was a Russian actor, director and acting teacher. Born to a Buryat family in Irkutsk, he began his career in the Soviet Union, playing the lead role in Vsevolod Pudovkin's 1928 film '' Storm Over Asia.''
