Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke, professionally known as Masterkraft, is a Nigerian record producer, disc jockey, band director, pianist, and songwriter. He started his professional music career with Kennis Music, and has worked with artists such as Flavour N'abania, Bracket, Banky W., Sound Sultan, Timaya, Lynxxx, M.I and J. Martins, among others. His production hits include "Fine lady" by Lynxxx featuring Wizkid, " Kwarikwa (Remix)" by Flavour N'abania featuring Fally Ipupa, "Girl" by Bracket featuring Wizkid, " Chinny Baby" by Flavour N'abania, and "Jasi" by Banky W. ''Leadership'' newspaper ranked him 8th on its 2014 list of the Top 10 Music Producers In Nigeria. In August 2015, ''Nigeria Entertainment Today'' ranked him 7th on its list of Nigeria's Top 7 Biggest Music Producers at the Moment. Highlife
Highlife is a music genre that started in present-day Ghana in the 19th century, during its Gold Coast (British colony), history as a colony of the British Empire and through its trade routes in coastal areas. It describes multiple local fusions of African metre and western jazz melodies. It uses the melodic and main rhythmic structures of traditional Akan people, Akan music, Kpanlogo Music of the Ga people, but is typically played with Western instruments. Highlife is characterized by jazzy Horn section, horns and multiple guitars which lead the band and its use of the two-finger plucking Guitar picking, guitar style that is typical of African music. Recently it has acquired an uptempo, synth-driven sound. Highlife gained popularity in the genre "Native Blues" prior to World War II before production was shut down.
