Andrea Masiello
Andrea Masiello (born 5 February 1986) is an Italian professional footballer, who plays as a centre-back for club Südtirol. He is perhaps best known for match-fixing in the Derby of Puglia, whilst playing for Bari, scoring an own goal to guarantee Lecce survival in Serie A. He was banned 26 months for selling the matches Salernitana–Bari, Bari–Sampdoria, Palermo–Bari, Bari– Lecce and Bologna–Bari. Career Juventus A graduate of Juventus' youth system, he made his Serie A debut for Juve, in a home defeat Inter, on 20 April 2005. Masiello joined Juventus on loan in 2003 from Lucchese and in January 2004, he turned to a co-ownership deal for €300,000. In June 2004 Juventus acquired him outright. Masiello was on loan to Avellino of Serie B in 2005, along with Boudianski, where he played 41 times. Anthony Masiello
Anthony M. Masiello (born April 28, 1947) is an American politician and former basketball player who served as Mayor of Buffalo, New York from 1994 to 2005. Prior to being mayor, he served as a member of the New York State Senate. He is currently president of Masiello, Martucci and Associates, a Buffalo-based lobbying firm. Early life and education A Buffalo native, Masiello is the oldest of seven children born to Bridget and Dan Masiello. Masiello graduated from Canisius College in 1969, where he played as a member of the Canisius Golden Griffins men's basketball team. He was then drafted by the Indiana Pacers in the 1969 NBA draft, and played on the team during the 1969–1970 season. Club career From Venezia to Palermo Masiello started his career at Venezia, he made one Serie B appearance before moving to Lumezzane (Lega Pro Prima Divisione). In January 2003, he was signed by U.S. Città di Palermo and rejoined chairman Maurizio Zamparini. Luciano Masiello (born 2 January 1951) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a winger in England, Ireland and Italy. Playing career Masiello joined Charlton Athletic as a school boy in 1962 and came through the youth teams and reserves until he made his first team debut in a friendly against Dutch team FC Den Bosch in 1968, another first team outing followed against a very strong Italian under 21 team in a friendly at the valley until making his full first team league debut in December 1969 against Norwich City winning 3–0. He went on to make eight league appearances and two substitute appearances for Charlton Athletic and scored one goal against West Bromwich Albion in a league cup match at the Hawthorns.
